The service includes: external ed internal inspection of the PLB, cleaning if necessary, installation of new battery P/N 1103, installation of new gasket, pressure test to check the hermetic seal of the PLB, final frequency and operational test.

ACR PLBs batteries should be replaced every 5 years to ensure proper functioning when needed.
