Ocean Signal EPIRB1 Cat. 2

The EPIRB1 from the British Ocean Signal is the lightest and most compact EPIRB in the world. Thanks to its small size it can be easily stored in its quick release holder or placed in an emergency bag or on the life raft.

Like any modern EPIRB, it is equipped with integrated 16-channel GPS and automatic activation in contact with water (as well as manual). The EPIRB1 antenna is retractable and has compact dimensions (H 178, Ø 89mm).

A simple protective cap placed on the buttons prevents accidental activation, but at the same time allows for simple use when necessary.

The EPIRB1 also has two strobe lights for its location at night or in low light conditions. The retractable antenna offers maximum protection and a reduced profile for stowage. In case of need, by gently pulling it, the antenna is easily prepared.

Being approved as EPIRB, the Ocean Signal EPIRB1 guarantees, if activated, a transmission duration of 48 hours.

For programming purposes, the customer must send us a copy of the MMSI code issuance certificate or a copy of the RTF license in which the MMSI is highlighted.
